Brought to you by the Hawaii Technology Development Corporation (HTDC), Digital Currency Innovation Lab (DCIL) and Entrepreneurs Sandbox, “DCIL Presents:…” is a series of webinars and events designed to educate and raise awareness around virtual currencies.In this webinar, Alex Wilson from The Giving Block, a fundraising platform for cryptocurrency will be sharing about the platform as well as how and why non-profits should be thinking about virtual currencies as part of their fundraising strategy. Participants will be able to ask questions in this webinar.
Non-profits in Hawaii will be given priority to attend this webinar.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Alex’s background is in management consulting where he worked with Fortune 500 companies to develop strategies around emerging technologies like AI, IoT, blockchain and cryptocurrency. As he went down the cryptocurrency rabbit hole, he began investing in and advising early stage cryptocurrency startups. Now, he’s turned his attention to the nonprofit world where he equips nonprofits to accept Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency donations.
