FREE Public Talk
Host: HNL Street Collective

© James Knudsen

Join HNL Street Collective members in a conversation about contemporary street photography in Hawaii. The members will share work, articulate their vision, describe their processes, and give some background on the collective itself. Questions are encouraged.

In fall of 2018, a diverse group of a local street photographers began meeting informally at local coffee shops around the island. Usually, there were more cameras on the table than coffee cups. These meetings led to the creation of the HNL Street Collective, a group of photographers who have changed the landscape of photography in Hawai‘i by their devotion to interpreting and documenting our island communities and other locations.
